The female students of Dar Al Uloom schools: Maha Khalid Al-Ghunaim, Rahaf Saleh Al-Buthi and Maria Al-Ghamdi, who are in the third grade of the secondary education stage (the scientific section), won the second place in MAWHIBA’s contest in Science and Engineering on the level of the Kingdom. They won after submitting a research in the field of social and behavioral sciences. It should be noted that 1500 students from 50 different countries participated in this contest and submitted 126 projects. The contest was held under the auspices of King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA).
In this exhibition, the student\ Nourah Abdulaziz Al Rabeeq, invented a device to locate the whereabouts of the children using the Global Positioning System (GPS). She called her device “Where is My Child” and won the second place in MAWHIBA’s contest in Science and Engineering on the level of the Kingdom in 2011 and represented the Kingdom at the Intel ISEF Fair in the United States of America.
The students, Nourah Abdulaziz Al Rabeeq and Sarah Salah Al-Nasr, won the first place in Intel ISEF contest in science and engineering which was held in the UAE with the participation of King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA) in the field of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2011. The two students submitted a research entitled: (The Negative Effects of the Insecticide, Chlorpyrifos, on Fertility). They were also nominated to represent the Kingdom at the Intel ISEF International Fair in Los Angeles, California.
The student Talin Abdulaziz won the second place in the Chemistry Olympiad which was held on the level of the Kingdom. She also passed the summer, autumn and spring training course and was then qualified to study at King Abdullah University. Moreover, she participated in the MAWHIBA’s international program which was held in Malaysia in 2014.
The student, Sarah Abdulaziz Al-Nasir, who is a student in the third grade of the secondary stage, won the fifth place with a research entitled: “Studying the possibility of applying the Leidenfrost effect to land transportation vehicles.”
The two students, Sarah Saeed Al-Qahtani and Hissah Al-Duhailan, who are students in the second grade of the secondary stage, obtained the sixth place with their research entitled: (Using the Cutin extracted from the Aloe Vera Plant for thermally insulating the external bodies of traffic vehicles(
His Royal Highness, Prince\ Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, honored the student\ Sarah Hassan Al-Qahtani, a student in the second grade of the secondary stage for winning the fourth place in Saudi Most Competitive Youth Forum at its fourth session with her research entitled: (reducing electric power consumption for lightening purposes using smart bulb and reflectors inspired by nature).
In the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity “Ibdaa 2013”, the student\ Sara Hassan Mubarak Al-Qahtani won the fourth place with her research: (Development of multi-layer solar cells by raising the electrical conductivity of the germanium layer(
Also, the student\ Atheer Abdullah Al-Humaid won the sixth place in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity “Ibdaa 2013” with her scientific research entitled: “The Negative Effects of Industrial Sugar on Fertility.”
The students, Sarah Hassan Mubarak Al-Qahtani and Hissah Al-Duhailan, who are in the third grade of the secondary stage (the scientific section), won the Bronze Medallion for their scientific research entitled: “Using the Cutin extracted from the Aloe Vera Plant for thermally insulating the external bodies of traffic vehicles”.
The student Sarah Al-Siddiq won the eighth place on the level of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Mathematical Olympiad.
The student Rima Al-Mandil, who is in the second grade of the Secondary stage, enrolled through MAWHIBA’s International Summer Program in computer science for 2013, in John Hopkins University’s program for distance learning.
The student\ Lujain Abdulaziz AlMazid, in the first grade of the secondary stage, won one of the top 10 places in MAWHIBA’s tests for 2014 on the level of the Kingdom.
The Boys section’s students won the second place in the athletics contest held by the Department of Education in Al-Rawdah District.
Dar Al Uloom Schools’ students won the second place in Individual Poem Recitation Competition which was held by the Department of Education in Al-Rawdah District in 2017; noting that this competition was canceled in 2016.
The school received an appreciation certificate for its participation in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity “Ibdaa 2016”. Worth noting that the number of the students who participated in this Olympiad from our schools exceeded the number required by talented students department in Riyadh.
Dar Al Uloom Schools’ students won the first place in the National Mathematical Olympiad in 2017.
Five female students from the primary stage and nine female students from the middle and high stages received bronze certificates from the international educational website, Mathletics.
The student Alaa Hamad Basulaiman won the second place and the student Arwa Al Mahboub won the third place in the Science and Mathematics Olympiad held at the level of the Education Office – North Riyadh.
The student Tizkar Al-Maliki won the first place in Poem Recitation and Improvisation Competition held on the level of the Education Office – North Riyadh.
Primary Stage students (Boys Section) won the second place in the Dictation Competition held on the level of Riyadh City for the academic year 1437-1438 AH.
The students of Dar Al Uloom Schools’ Primary Stage (Boys Section) won the second place in the Quran Memorization Competition on the level of the Education Office – North Riyadh for the academic year 1436-1437 AH.
The students of Dar Al Uloom schools received the largest share of awards in that event, where 52 students from our schools received international certificates.
